There are two ways to calculate the area

Walk the graphs O.O

This is a d-t graph
To walk this graph
- Stay 1m away from the sensor and rest for 1 second
- Walk 1.5 m away from the sensor in 2 seconds
- Rest for 3 seconds
- Walk 0.8 m towards the sonsor in 1.5 second
- Rest for 2.5 seconds

Hypothesis of the v-t graph:
- From 0s to 1s      : zero velocity
- From 1s to 3s      : constant velosity at 0.75m/s
- From 3s to 6s      : zero velocity
- From 6s to 7.5s   : constant velocity at 0.53m/s
- From 7.5s to 10s : zero velocity

Hypothesis of a-t graph:
- From 0s to 10s : zero acceleration

This is a d-t graph.

To walk this graph: - Start from 3m away the sensor and walk 1.5 m towards the sensor in 3 seconds
- Rest for 1 second
- Walk 1 m towards the sensor in 1 second
- Rest for 2 seconds
- Walk 2.5 m away from the sensor in 3 seconds

Hypothsis of v-t graph:
- From 0s to 3s   : constant velocity at 0.5m/s
- From 3s to 4s   : zero velocity
- From 4s to 5s   : constant velocity at 1m/s
- From 5s to 7s   : zero velocity
- From 7s to 10s : constant velocity at 0.83 m/s

Hypothesis of a-t graph:
- From 0s to 10s: zero acceleration

This is a d-t graph
 To walk the graph:
- Start at 0.9 m away from the sensor and walk 0.9 meter away from the sensor for 3.5 seconds
- Rest for 3 seconds
- Walk 1.4 m away from the sensor in 3.5 seconds

Hypothesis of v-t graph:
- From 0s to 3.5s : constant velocity at 0.26 m/s
- From 3.5s to 6.5s : zero velosity
- From 6.5s to 10s : constant velosity at 0.4 m/s

Hypothesis of a-t graph
- From 0s to 10s: zero acceleration

This is a v-t graph

To walk this graph:
- Run 1 meter away from the sensor in 4 seconds
- Walk 1 meter away from the sensor in 2 seconds
- Walk 1.2 meters towards the sensor in 3 seconds
- Rest for 1 second

Hypothesis of a-t graph:
From 0s to 4s   : constant acceleration at 0.125 m/s2
From 4s to 6s   : zero acceleration
From 6s to 9s   : zero acceleration
From 9s to 10s : zero acceleration

This is a v-t graph.

To walk this graph:
- Rest for 2 seconds
- Walk 1.5 m away from the sensor in 3 seconds
- Rest for 2 seconds
- Walk 1.5 m towards the sensor in 3 seconds

Hypothesis of a-t graph:
- From 0s to 10s : zero acceleration

This is a v-t graph

To walk this graph:
- Walk about 1 m away from the sensor for 3s
- Walk about 1 m towards the sensor for 3.5s
- Rest for 3.5 s

Hypothesis of a-t graph:
From 0s to 10s : zero acceleration

Motor...

THE fragile MOTOR Linda and I built...

We used a large wooden board, some nails, a cork, a kabob stick, a popcan and some wire to build the motor.... Well, it is SO fragile that things keep on falling off... And... yes, one of the nails came off when I took this picture. (,,゚Д゚)
